Membership options

ANMF (Vic Branch) offers various membership options to suit members' changing circumstances over the lifetime of their membership.

Updating your membership details

For most members (registered nurses, midwives, enrolled nurses, registered undergraduate student of nursing (RUSON), registered undergraduate student of midwifery (RUSOM) and personal care workers), your membership fees depend on your weekly hours worked. We offer two membership rates; less than 24 hours per week, or 24 hours or more per week.

If you’re not paying the membership category that reflects the hours you work, you won’t be fully financial. This matters if you require our services. Industrial, professional and legal advice and representation are only provided to members who were fully financial at the time of the incident for which you are seeking assistance and when performing professional nursing and midwifery services.

It is also important that we have your up-to-date email address and ward or workplace details, to communicate with you about important matters that are relevant to your ward or workplace.

You can review and update your personal, membership and workplace details on our update details page.

Working interstate

We can only cover members who work in Victoria. If you are moving interstate, even for a short period of time, you may need to transfer your membership to another branch of ANMF. Click here to find out more.

Non-working options, including parental leave

If you are currently on, or will soon be going on parental leave, view your membership options, including our reduced rate Primary Carers Leave membership, here.

If you are not currently practising, or working in a role covered by ANMF (Vic Branch), view your membership options, including our reduced rate Associate membership, here.

Important documents

You can download your current PII certificate, which should be retained for Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) auditing purposes. The PII Certificate expires on 31 May to align with AHPRA’s registration year, and a new certificate will become available for download on 1 June.

You can also download current and previous tax statements for your records.
